Upright Elephant Ears.
The Alocasia 'Portodora' is a very impressive and imposing Alocasia. Gigantic lush green leaves are heavily scalloped and stand upright on strong purple colored stems. Growing in large clumps it can reach between 6-8ft tall. Fast growing this spectacular foliage provides a wonderful tropical effect in any garden. Great for growing in containers and placing into a border through summer to give it a tropical look and then moving indoors through winter. Alternatively their spectacular foliage makes them a striking houseplant.
