The Sabal Minor or Dwarf Palmetto Palm is a slow growing palm. Withstanding temperatures down to -18 degrees it is one of the world's hardiest palms. Growing an underground (subterranean) trunk, it keeps many of it's vital parts below the frost line.
A very attractive and tropical looking palm in summer with the benefit of being evergreen in winter. It grows upright blue/green fan-shaped leaves dissected into narrow segments.
This is a great ornamental palm and is perfect for under-planting taller palms, giving interest and variety to your garden
