Each Curved Trunk Palm Tree is unique and perfect for creating interest in any garden and creative planting scheme. It is only occasionally when we have some in stock for sale. The two varieties of curved trunk palm which are available at the moment are :

(1) Trachycarpus Fortunei Palm or Chusan Palm which is a very attractive, easy and quick growing palm. It is one of the hardiest of all the palm trees, and is hardy in most places of the UK even in severe winters.

(2)  Trachycarpus Wagnerianus or 'Waggie', which is a "no fuss" palm, easy to grow it is extremely robust having small elegant fan-shaped leaves, making them tolerant to exposed, windy conditions, hardy down to -15 degrees even tolerating frost and snow. Both these varieties of palm have trunks covered in a coarse fibrous material, giving it an exotic and tropical appearance.

Growth: Both varieties are "no fuss" easy to grow palms. Beautiful fan-shaped fronds are arranged around the top of a single trunk which is covered in a coarse fibrous material, giving them an exotic and tropical appearance.

Soil: Any.
Moisture: Water well during growing season.
